Axel Zwingenberger. Axel is perhaps the single most important boogie woogie practitioner today. He has been promoting and performing the style for decades and is largely responsible for the current European boogie woogie revival. Every recent book on boogie woogie has his fingerprints all over it including A Left Hand Like God, Boogie Woogie Stomp, and Learn Boogie Woogie Piano. He has also written the liner notes for some of the most important boogie woogie CD's.
